Lucy King: Blog Post #1

Hi!!! I am so excited to study abroad in Barcelona for a number of reasons. For one, I am minoring in Spanish, so I am really hoping to become as fluent as I possibly can here. I have visited the city before and it is definitely one of my favorite places I have ever been to. The people, the culture, the cuisine, the views… everything is just amazing. I am so excited to spend four months here. One of my favorite things to do is make new friends so I just cannot wait to meet everyone. I expect the beginning to be a bit of an adjustment, however, I cannot wait to be there. Some goals I have for myself are to step out of my comfort zone as much as I can and advance my Spanish. I want to make sure I take every opportunity I possibly can. I am looking forward to traveling as much as I can. I cannot wait for this awesome opportunity I have been given. I am so excited and looking forward to the adventure of a lifetime.
