A Day in the Life

Hey guys! Come along for a day in my life as a study abroad student at American University in Rome, Italy!

I start most mornings by opening my blinds and taking in the gorgeous view of Rome from our balcony. Since today is Thursday, I headed out for class, which means tackling a ton of stairs. AUR is on the highest hill in Rome! But once you reach the top, the views are totally worth it. On my way to class, I get to walk through the most beautiful garden, and one of my favorite parts is filling up my water bottle at the fountain, the water is sofresh.

Before class, I usually stop by a café right across from my school to grab something to eat and catch up on work. Then, I headed to my social media class, which I’m taking with some of my friends from TCU.

After class, I got ready for an exciting weekend trip to the Czech Republic with my roommates and friends I’ve met here. We grabbed dinner at Eataly at the Rome airport it was so good! Then flew to Prague, arriving safely and ready to rest up for the adventures ahead.

One of the things I love most about studying abroad is the chance to travel every weekend and explore new places with amazing friends!
