I decided to study abroad because I’ve always been inspired by my older brothers, who both had incredible experiences studying abroad. Hearing their stories about the people they met, the places they explored, and how much they grew during their time overseas made me want to have my own adventure. I’m also really grateful to come from a family that loves to travel and experience new things—growing up, we were always exploring new places, which gave me a massive appreciation for different cultures.
This semester, I hope to push myself out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and fully immerse myself in a culture completely different from what I’m used to. My goals are to become more independent, improve my ability to adapt to new situations and come away with a broader perspective on life. To accomplish this, I will stay open-minded, say yes to as many opportunities as possible, and try to connect with the people around me.
I’m most excited about exploring everything my new home offers—trying local foods, visiting historic sites, and discovering hidden gems around the city. I can’t wait to see how this experience will shape me and create memories I’ll carry with me forever.
A little about me: I’m someone who values family, loves to travel, and is always looking for the next adventure. For me, studying abroad is a chance to follow in my brothers’ footsteps and create my unique story. This experience means so much because it’s not just about school—it’s about growth, exploration, and seeing the world differently. I couldn’t be more excited to start this journey!
