Elizabeth Patterson: Blog Post #3

Image 1: The semester is winding down, my second to last trip was to Switzerland, one of the most beautiful places on earth I have ever been too. So clean, so open, amazing hikes, filed with waterfalls and mountains. I got to go paragliding in Interlaken, amazing views and even more amazing kind people.

Image 2: A couple images from my first few days of spring break in Bled Slovenia. Super tiny little village, the cleanest clearest lake where only manually paddled boats are allowed. I met a new friend in a hostel here and spent the whole trip with her! She was from Ukraine but moved after the war broke out, she told me about her family and her journey to where she is now traveling. One of my favorite parts of aboard is the people you get to me.

Image3: Some weekdays in Prague, images from the zoo which is massive and by far the best zoos I’ve ever been too. The Opera house from when I went to see Swan Lake with my program, The library at school doing my class work and the various blooms all over the city.

Image 4: Some clips from Munich and  Brussels just a few of the places I got to visit over spring break, along with Paris and Amsterdam, my top two cities besides Prague in Europe. I’m sad that I’m only left with two weeks but I am beyond grateful and changed by my time here. I couldn’t imagine not doing study aboard now that I’ve lived it, by far the most eye opening and rewarding and challenging experiences of my life, what a blessing!
