Student Travel Registration: Solo & Programs

All student travel with at least one overnight stay must be registered and confirmed through TCU Global prior to committing funds.

A faculty or staff sponsor must start the process, whether accompanying the students or not:

Domestic Travel for Students

Examples:
                    Research, conference, or similar activity
                    Class activities / excursions
                    Study away programs                    

  1. Faculty or Staff sponsor starts the registration process, whether accompanying the students or not: 
    Register the Travel
  2. TCU Global receives the request and will follow up the faculty or staff sponsor with next steps in the registration process, including a link for students to compete required forms and materials.

 

International Travel for Students

International Programs Travel Policy: This policy applies to all short-term international travel programs, organized or sponsored by TCU, that involve non-degree, undergraduate, and/or graduate students. TCU employees may email studyabroad@tcu.edu for access to the International Programs Travel Policy.

Short-term Travel or Non-Credit Programs

Examples:
                    Research, conference, or competition
                    Group program not associated with academic credit      

  1. Faculty or Staff sponsor starts the registration process, whether accompanying the students or not: 
    Register the Travel
  2. TCU Global receives the request and will follow up the faculty or staff sponsor with next steps in the registration process, including a link for students to compete required forms and materials.

Study Abroad Programs

Associated with an academic program or earning academic credit

  1. Review the Call for 2023 – 2024 Programs
  2. Submit the Program Information Form
  3. TCU Global will review to create a portfolio of programs for the 2023-2024 year.
